                    Quick Vegan Avocado Toast

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 slice whole grain bread
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast (optional)
  • Cherry tomatoes for topping (optional)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Toaster
  • Bowl
  • Fork
  • Knife

Instructions:

  • Toast the slice of whole grain bread until golden brown.
  • In a bowl, mash the ripe avocado with a fork.
  • Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the mashed avocado and mix well.
  • Spread the avocado mixture evenly on the toasted bread.
  • Sprinkle nutritional yeast on top if using.
  • Top with halved cherry tomatoes for added flavor and presentation.
